Marie, that beginning exercise sounds great. I've done similar ones before.
The idea of this being about "psyching ourselves out" and falling on our own arrows...eros...yes, I'm very much there with that, nice, nice...
I like the idea of people having read th story, then talking through the story and DRAWING the thing on some huge-ass piece of paper...making a map, if you will. Still of the original story.
And then generating?
Tom, thoughts?
I feel like we're still at the point where we should each lead a piece of the rehearsal...then the next time we meet, we can plan a broader arc for the time we have this semester, and figure out our rotation.
Yes?
Do we need to get a room? Do we need any props or supplies?

hi
I like the idea of sharing the leadership, yes to the homework, yes to reading it out lod ... maybe each do a sentence, or a paragraph, or yes to making a list/map of what stood out for each of us, the events or moments that feel fertile. I love the idea of generating work based off of those sentences Jenny. Sch a geat way to spring off of P&C and see where we land.
Physical - that sounds like a goo beginning. Does it move into big movement?
We could do that follow the leder exercise I mentioned a while back. you get to follow anyone or just do stuff on your own. I also think we could do a follow the leader but payig attention to a variety of ingredients 1) shape 2) time/rhythm 3) Space 4) emotion 5 ) movement etc.
that way we warm up, and build listening and awareness skilss while creating a commmon vocabulary. that could be a 1/2 hour process with whole group and then beak into 2 groups.
I think we should get music making in there too.
Ummm that's it for now.
Oh yes to finding space. Maire I volunteer you!!!
Jenny your dream is stuning ... I say let's do it!
